Night is settling on Tokyo…and an amazing night it was!
What an honor.
Right place.
Right time.
Tokyo.
Japan.
Coolest venue ever!
Japanese make cool stuff.
Rare that Christians use it.
Secular promoter took a chance on us.
He’s not a believer.
Yet.
But helped us anyway.
Came tonight.
Stayed till the end.
Hosts concerts of every size/kind.
Said he’d never seen anything like it.
“The young people’s eyes were shining!”
Yes to that.
He said it touched him deeply.
Told him it was not just music.
But the God of the songs!
Energy.
Faith.
Not polite.
Yet really reverent at times.
So loud at others.
Such a hunger.
Special, special night.
So worth it.
Investment.
Mattered.
Tomlin and band killed!
KILLED!
Not sure how I did.
BUT Katsumi, my translator was awesome.
I mean AWESOME!
London, your voices were heard.
Your faces seen.
Your shout received!
God has a plan.
A purpose.
A time.
He is sovereign over Tokyo.
The time is now?
Beautiful faces.
Many love Jesus.
One non-believing student told a friend…
“I didn’t know there were this many Christians…
In Tokyo!”
Thanks for inviting your friend.
Praying they will pursue the sound they heard tonight.
Pursue the grace we celebrated.
Hope abounds.
Millions wait.
For the Son.
Of God.
To be shared.
Never count Him out.

I am in south africa, Durban right now! I am with an international team and we are working for youth for christ! It is just so awesome what God is doing true our lives and what he is doing in our lives!
It started @ passion 2010 when i was awakened by your first sermon! Yesterday we watched your how great is our God dvd at our youth ministry! Its just so powerful what god is doing true you and the passion team. Let the holy spirit come and renew us!

God tells me that He loves me. and the fact that He loves me makes me tell the love others.
There are so many His people in Tokyo. I don’t know who they are, God knows. Then what do we do?

Woke up at 4AM today wide awake (I think God woke me up on purpose cause that rarely happens-ha ;), so I could pray for Tokyo right as your Team was raising Him up. Pretty amazing.

I was there last night and had tears in my eyes for half of it.. such a moving night.. God bless all of you. I also didn’t realise there were so many young Christians in Tokyo.. it’s really encouraging. I feel re-energised, revived and alive. I will be praying for the promoter that attended.. and praying for this nation. With God all things are possible :)

So happy things were fantastic in Tokyo! I set my alarm clock (my cell phone, actually) so that I would wake up when the event was about to start. So happy to be a part of this somehow.
I can’t wait for the Tokyo Podcast. I remember the Tokyo podcast in 2008 was really touching. In times like these I just want to learn japanese well enough and be there for God. But I don’t know if I could really do it (I mean, learn the language). I don’t know… let’s see what God has in store for me. Ever since Passin Sao Paulo 2008 I’ve been asking God to guide me… and during Passion 2010 in Atlanta I believe God gave me a glimpse of something. But I don’t know whether it involves Japan or not… I just want my life to count for Him. So let’s see where that leads to. It may be in my own country. It may be somewhere else. I want to say YES.
I pray we will see the rising sun shine over Japan. Again, I can’t wait for the podcast.

One of the most inspiring blogposts I’ve read! The Passion for His name shine so strong through it. This must have been an awesome event. I cried out YES as tears fall from my eyes when I read it. God is so great! And how he desires to reach Japan. Thank you for going there Passion. Thank you, God, for your amazing love for everyone everywhere. I love you. And I just pray that your name can be heard all over Japan. Let your love shine in the Passion team, and watch over them and lead them through the rest of the tour. By your will may them return to Japan again. The wave is moving. All for you! All by you!

ありがとうござました！Thanks for last night. Of the 5 Japanese that I attended with, 3 became Christians in the last 6 months and 2 are not yet followers. I know that the worship, prayer and message really impacted each person in a powerful way. Thank you for talking about how much God loves us. That is where it all starts! I know that there were some people in that room that have literally not heard that message yet. Thank you for challenging us to make Jesus famous with our lives. I agree that just a few people, who believe God with all their heart, can make a massive impact for God. God IS moving and awakening in Japan. His Spirit is crashing like a tsunami.
I’ve been living in Japan since January. I’m 23, graduated college last year, and I am determined to make Jesus famous with my life. My wife and I are learning Japanese 5 days a week and working for a church planting group on the weekends. Last night was really fueling for me. Standing in a the biggest crowd of Japanese Christians I have ever experienced, singing my heart out to God, with two of my Japanese friends on either side, tears coming down our faces, it was awesome.
So, may God be worshipped more and more in Japan! May God do immeasurably more than all we ask or can even imagine! Thanks for coming to Tokyo. Thanks for having great faith and inspiring my friends and I!
Last night was awesome! Because of Jesus, tomorrow will be too!

Team, thank you for continuing to reach out through the pcc updates and blogs. It’s so awesome to journey with you through prayer as we walk out our days here in Atlanta and for our children (and us!) to visibly see what we are praying for.

He has more than enough for each city… He is sooooo good! And His Love for us is just amazing. I’ve been thinking that He, the creator of this world, Highest name, the Only God says “I LOVE YOU”. That just make me smile^^

So special to read this blog and see the pictures of the beautiful Japanese people gathering together to worship God and to celebrate all He has done.. especially in light of the fact that they are one of the biggest unreached people groups for the gospel. God is doing great things in Japan and I have no doubt that He will use the seeds planted at Passion Tokyo to be spread far and wide in Japan over the coming days/months/years :) So cool to read also about the owner of the stadium and how impacted He was by the whole night and could see for Himself that our God is real and stronger and higher than any other :)
