Passion 2011-Atlanta//Ft. Worth

get-attachment

It’s official, Passion is returning to Texas!

That means you can choose to be a part of Passion 2011 either in Atlanta, GA, January 1-4 OR Fort Worth, TX, April 1-3.  The heartbeat and core of both gatherings will be the same, but there are a few differences.

Passion 2011 Atlanta will look a lot like last year: four days, six main sessions, dual venues, Community/Family Groups, an interactive Do Something Now area, and breakouts.  The main difference is that we are working around some space issues this year that will mean our capacity in Atlanta will be less than it was for 2010…so not as many people will fit in Atlanta this year!

Passion 2011 Fort Worth will be a three-day gathering with five main sessions, one venue, Community/Family Groups, a more streamlined Do Something Now approach and no breakouts.  As well, our capacity in Fort Worth is significantly less than that of Atlanta.

We are excited to be back in Fort Worth (the site of Passion ‘99) and hope this additional location will make it possible for a lot more students to join the Passion wave in 2011.

Registration for Passion Atlanta is open [the current price is $139 through May 1 and over 2700 people have already staked their place].  Registration for Fort Worth will open next Wednesday, April 7 at 12PM (Noon) EST [opening price-$99 through April 30].

I’m very excited about passion 2011! I do have question, which doesn’t effect my attendance at passion 2011 but just something I wanted to know. During the live link it was said that chan and piper confirmed for 2011 in Atlanta, and this past week Piper announced he would be taking a leave for the rest of the year. Does this change anything with him being at Atlanta?

  9. Silke Says:

Hm, to volunteer in ATL or TX? Someone will have to figure that one out…

Louie, or anyone else out there, how much time should one spend praying

    a. in groups and
    b. alone

    say, per week?

We just talked about it at bible study tonight, and it just never seems enough.

    Thanks, and God bless…

  12. Sasha Says:

I’m dying to go to Passion in Atlanta! I do have a question, Next January I’ll be 17, I’m graduating this year, but I’m not going to college (well, I don’t think I am…). Will I be qualified to go?I know that it says you should be 18-25. If anyone knows, I’d appreciate it.

    Thanks!

,THANK YOU!! …for coming to TX! Are there age limits to attend? My daughter will be 10 & I have been looking for an awesome event to attend with her and I KNOW this would be awesome fo sho! BUT, I am not familiar with your format and unsure of how age appropriate the speakers might be for a 10 yr old? I have heard NOTHING but how amazing PASSION is to experience & hope I can attend! If my daughter is too young, I am still considering going & maybe taking some teenagers from my church and/ or my ‘hood! I grew up in D/FW & went to high school on Arlington/ Ft Worth border, so who knows, maybe I could benefit PASSION 2011 as a volunteer? I will be praying about this with my wife and praying for the Holy Spirit to consume ALL involved with PASSION 2011! Thank you again!
    Grace & Peace!
    ~Aaron

I am really very much interested in going to Passion 2011 in Ft. Worth but the thing is I think I’m a little over of age to register. Are 27 yr olds allowed to register or not? I’ve never been to a Passion gathering before and I’m really wanting to go to one. I am also currently not in college but I wish I was and I dont really want to go by myself.

  15. Brett from Texas Says:

I found a really heavy article on one of the worst cities for prostitution in America… Atlanta. I have to wonder if there is some way that Passion 2011 could extend God’s hands of mercy and love to the prostitutes in the city, just as we have done for the homeless in years past. I know it’s a bit trickier… but it’d have to be worth it if they would come to see Jesus through it.

  21. Nissa Says:

hey i want tones poster flyers please

  22. David King Says:

Sasha, I went last yeah to Passion 2010 as a senior in high school. It was amazing. They don’t really have an age requirement, but due to some of the stuff, as in real life situations they suggest an age. You should be fine. Hope to see you there.

Aaron Martin, as amazing as passion is, I’m not sure if you 10 year old daughter will get the full effects of what passion is all about. It’s great to get kids into church functions at a young age, but I think being only 10, passion may be a little far fetched. Volunteering is a great thing to do as well. They can always use the extra volunteers.
