16 Day Prayer Journey To Passion 2010 – Now

Now.

During the next few hours many of you will be arriving in Atlanta. But Passion doesn’t start when you get here, Passion begins the instant you become intoxicated by the grace of God and determine to make every breath about the Savior who brought you back to life again.  Shake off the fog of lies that suffocate…and cling to the voice of the Spirit.  In Christ, you are prized, free, alive, new, washed, clean, able.  You are Passion.  And Passion is now!

If you’re on the way to Passion 2010, we’ll see you soon!  If not, know we feel your prayers from a far and will see you by the miracle of technology once the first session is streamed sometime Saturday night/Sunday morning.

So now we pray…
Father, what more can we say?  16 days.  So many words.
We need You more than ever.  You are everything.  Be happy at Passion 2010.  It’s all for You, Jesus.  Amen

“Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God.” 1 Corinthians 2:12

i asked God for a prophetic word concerning passion 2010
so i just simply write it down:

    This is the Lords doing
and it is marvelous in our eyes.
    Its time to rise
Its time to raise the banner high
The Lord is exalted over all the earth
Its about Him. Its all about Him
    Every seeking heart will find
the door is open for everyone who is knocking
and for the one who ask will receive
God will pour out His favour. God commits His blessing to places of deep unity where it is no longer about names but where people are one as a family.
He will come down like the rain
    like the dew from heaven
    His glory will appear.
    Let everyone praise His Name.
Let hearts be bowed down in adoration
For He sees and knows and lifts up the needy from the ash heap.
Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise!

I’m so happy that He is doing so much through all of this. My dearest friends are all in Atlanta seeking with you. I’m asking that He would move mightily in out generation.
I couldn’t afford to go this year. I was going to, but i dropped out of this trip so that my brother could go. Neither of us could afford to go, and our parents could only afford to send one of us. He deserves it.

  16. Hope Says:

THANKS SOOO much for making the link available! I gotta see Christ in order to die. How kind, merciful, gracious and holy He is. I bow in love and holy fear. May I be faithful to run the race, finish well and may Christ be pleased and glorified in my life. “do for me what I cannot do for myself” still praying….

    Loving Him,
    Hope

Loved the Main Session 1 online worship by all, preach by You, Louie, and the new song by Chris (Awaken It?) that brought home the message about Jesus’ desire to awaken us from the dead (apathy, dullness and just plain lack of desire for Him). Praying for a mighty outpouring of God’s Spirit upon the gathering of students from around the globe there in Atlanta. Crazily sorry that we could not be there but love your herat to get the sessions up online for all of us who want to share in the joy of all that God is doing through this labor of love. Can’t wait for Main Session 2 to load. From Florida on Sunday evening.

  19. Debbie Clark Says:

    Dear Louie,

I wanted to share my story after watching your first session. God loves to show us his glory and he showed me big tonight.

I’m a mother of a 20 year beautiful daughter who is attending the passion 2010 from Las Vegas, NV with her boyfriend. So I wanted to watch and listen to what she had heard.

    My story goes like this.

My son, age 19 was killed in an automobile accident May 21, 2006. He was a racecar driver and was succeeding in the top ranks of NASCAR. His dream was coming true, so we thought until God had a different plan and chose to take him home. I’m thankful he knew Jesus. Anyhow, it has been a very tough journey for our entire family, and his friends. After he had passed I did continue to have his friends from racetrack to our home for bible studies, many were struggling.

As time has gone by I struggle with letting go, and trying to make sense out of all of the pain. I’m trying to let God show me his purpose, but its very tuff when you watch his friends all move forward. Watching your message tonight I was thinking to my self, God I know you can do anything you want and don’t have to answer to me, but show me your Glory in this picture of taking my son who had so many plans. You had explained that out of every small seed there is a bigger plan. That God wants to show his glory and make something big and show us. I was really thinking to myself, through the whole message and asking ” OK God show me your Glory in all of this.

As you started to close and the music began, I got a text at that moment from one of our family friends, it read:

I got this message from one of Spencer’s friends from Southern Calif. He said he was feeling very sad because his mother had made him cry on Christmas for the gift she had given him.” I asked why”? He answered and this is what he said, “Well there’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think of Spencer and my mom knows that I talk about him all the time. Well she gave the gift and it was a framed picture with Spencer’s favorite verse Ephesians 2:8-9 to hang on my wall”.

When I read that text I began to cry, the timing that text came was amazing, God had heard me with out any words even spoken, he showed me he is using Spencer’s death in others lives, and when you least expect an answer, he can blow your mind and show his Glory in every situation. And how much he really loves and cares about us even when you feel alone. Thank you for allowing him to use your message, even to a mom just sitting at home on her computer….God Bless all of you at Passion 2010.
