And yes, God has been at work and He knows all. For example, I had wanted to be there so badly as a volunteer -- so I laid down my fleece and He said "No!" :-( And guess what? I'm a sick little chick right now and would have been of no use. Can't be there physically -- you wouldn't want me. But I can still pray. And I am! (I especially appreciate the prayers the blog is including. I feel I'm praying corporately.) So glad to get these updates. And yes, God has been at work and He knows all. Hopeful it won't delay us. It's our 1st time coming to Passion live, heard it online who-knows-when after our youth group did a Louie Giglio video (tatoo) and i checked out the website. I have been looking forward to this for almost a year. I'm so glad my daughter still wanted to go even though none of her friends were able to join us. I'm excited to be volunteering on the Meals Team. Oh to be closer to God, to know Him more and love Him better, I can't wait!!! I'm so thankful He made this possible for us. We attended the first One Day event as college students in 2000, and now we are attending as leaders with our college|career group from Georgia. We are still overwhelmed, 10 years later, by all God did in our lives as college students, and we are so excited to celebrate that anniversary by joining with new college students from all over the world at Passion 2010. It's still difficult for us to wrap our minds around it, but God has been so gracious to us, and we are humbled and grateful for every opportunity we have to invest in the lives of college students. This movement and this ministry is near and dear to our hearts. Thanks for an incredible 10 years!
