16 Day Prayer Journey To Passion 2010 – Day 6

Day 6.  Continually.

With a global reach, it’s quite possible someone is reading this post every hour of the day, around the clock.  While we are sleeping in the US, someone wide awake is praying along with this journey in Asia or Australia, making for an unbroken chain of faith and expectation that is leading us from here to Passion 2010.

So, wherever you are today, let’s make it our goal to pray without stopping, covering every little part of Passion 2010 in Jesus’ name.  We know our adversary is trying to wreck it all before we even arrive in Atlanta, so let’s look up to the One who is above and over all, trusting to Him our lives and the days ahead!

Make a note.  Put a sticker on your watch.  Set the alarm on your phone.  Set up a prayer-text time with a friend.  Call somebody.  However works for you, prepare the way.

So together we pray…

Holy Spirit, awaken our hearts throughout the day and night, and lead us in the ways we should pray for Passion 2010.  You know every facet and need.  Link our hearts around the world and across the nation, and encourage us in the fact that someone else is praying at the same time we are somewhere on the other side of the globe.  Father, let Your Kingdom come and Your plans be done.  In Jesus’ name.  Amen.

Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.  1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

By prayer we will not miss out Gods appointment, without prayer we’ll surely face disappointment.

Know that this event – despite opposition- is in Gods hands!

I came across psalm 83 -its a prayer and cry for help so that our enemies will be destroyed

    it ends up with:
may they ever be ashamed and dismayed, may they perish in disgrace
Let them know that YOU, whose Name is the Lord -
that You alone are the Most High over all the earth!!

    peace be with you.

I’ve been making desktop backgrounds each day based off the titles of these blog posts to remind myself to ask God to prepare me for Passion 2010. After reading this post I feel like I should share them with any readers who might also want to use these each day leading up to our gathering. I’ll add my new one to each new post that’s made here. I hope they constantly encourage you guys for the coming event God has in store for us.

That “pray around the globe” theme has been one of my favorite parts all these years. What an encouragement to know that prayers go out to the ONE while I’m asleep, by people I don’t even know, and there they are, praying for all of us, and then vice versa!

    Keep it going!

    Prayers from Auckland, NZ!

This is the beauty of time differences – so cool to know that around the world there are people praying for Passion 2010 every moment :)

I really loved the prayer time at Passion Sydney on the WT with the prayer triangles and then praying for the city & country who had hosted the previous leg of the WT. Was so encouraging :)

Greater things are yet to come!
