Hola!
In just a few days we will be airborne and on our way to Mexico City for what promises to be a nation-changing weekend with a sold out crowd of over 17,000 university-aged young people in the largest of the world’s great cities! Wow! Sounds like a great way to start Leg 3 of the Passion World Tour and a perfect kickoff to Vancouver, Seoul, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Sydney. The next post you read will be coming your way from Mexico City and we hope you’ll join us for the next 30 days as we touch down on three continents with a ton of new friends and stories to tell.
Hopefully, you guys in Cape Town have not forgotten about us…and are still bridging the gap with your prayers as we connect the dots from nation to nation, city to city. Knowing that you’re praying for Mexico City, like Jozi prayed for you, means the world to us…and will mean a lot to them when they see the video of you cheering for them. That’s been such a kick for us, seeing how excited every city gets for the next, and how blown away they have been by the love that has come their way from the one before. I’m not sure what that means for us in Sydney on October 21. Maybe on that night we all start praying again for the next steps God has for us?!? Anyway, if you’re out there CT, pray for us this week as our leadership team is already in MC and the rest of us are on the way. We are praying the unique and unrivaled message of grace we carry will rush through Passion Mexico City, inspiring a wave of students to live for the One that sets us free.
I know most of you are on board with our new Do Something Now efforts, but take a minute to visit onemillioncan.com. This is our new DSN initiative, and since we all will not be together under the same roof until Passion 2010 in 14 months onemillioncan gives us all a chance to be a part wherever we are in the world. Take a look and let God lead your heart. If we all jump in, our small gifts can add up to a big difference in the lives of people all around the globe. We’ll talk in detail about onemillioncan.com later, but as we introduce this opportunity to people in the next six WT cities we want you guys to be with us, as well.
Believing for mercy, power, favor and grace each step of the way!
Louie

Louie,
Praying for you all from London (yes we’re still praying!!). May the Lord’s favour and grace continue to fill your lives as you seek to be His vessels bringing the message of grace, hope, love and mercy to the three continents on Leg 3.
I think the new DSN initiative is a fantastic idea. We often think we can’t change the world alone but through this, we can ALL make a difference. We can change one life at a time.
God bless you all!!

Hiya guys!
We are still praying for you guys here in sunny South Africa as well as the so many lives that have been touched and are still going to be touched by this wave of God’s GRACE.
So tonight this lyrics from Hillsong’s Hosanna is reounding in my heart…
‘I see a generation
Rising up to take their place
With selfless faith
With selfless faith
I see a near revival
Stirring as we pray and seek
We’re on our knees
We’re on our knees
Hosanna, Hosanna
Hosanna in the Highest
Heal my heart and make it clean
Open up my eyes
To the things unseen
Show me how to love
Like You have loved me
Break my heart for what breaks yours
Everything I am
For your kingsdom’s cause
As I walk from earth into eternity’
God bless!

We can’t wait to hear about God’s work in leg 3 of the WT and have been part of your prayer support since leg 1! My husband, 3 children and I just got back from South Korea last week to adopt a little boy. It was an honor and joy to stand in Seoul’s Olympic Park Gymnasium 1 (there are 3 – not sure which one you will be in) and pray for “greater things” that God would do there in less than 3 weeks when you guys arrive and to stand at the top of Mt. Namsan and pray over that massive city (#7 in the world)! They were even setting up a stage for another concert in the gymnasium last week – it’ll probably look like yours…The people are kind, beautiful and many already know and love Jesus. Praying for you guys – that time change was a little tough (for me at least!)….Dawn in VA

We’ve been praying for you heaps and heaps and heaps and heaps and for all the cities that Passion has been too, and for all those who have heard the awesome God-sent life-changing story – and for those that they have shared it with…and I totally can NOT wait til Sydney 21. The date, the time, the venue is etched in my head (funny that I can remember it in my sleep and not other important details like my keycard pin number or where I left my filing cabinet key…?)
Anyway have an ‘Indescribeable’ trip – catch u in Sydney…
…Our God is so good! Hey Our God is so good!
Greater things are yet to come.
…and the blogs and podcasts are a dream.
Thanks heaps for it – sharing the experience internationally with others around the globe on other campuses, living real lives…and also getting a small insight into what drives this ministry…

October 1st, 2008 at 7:42 AM
We are still here in prayer will continue all the way through Leg 3.
God has done and is doing great things in every City where you have been…I am so excited about the bigness of it all cant really get my mind around it…to have the Body of Christ Unite all around the world in a single goal to Glorify God All Mighty and make Jesus Famous in anything we do.
I truly believe that all our prayers are bringing a greater anointing of God over every city in the tour and God will be there in all his Majesty to radically change the way us young people (I say that not excluding the older generation also being part of the movement) think and forever change our actions. Just as Sonnet said earlier Hillsongs Hosanna has so applicable its scary!!
I get so excited when I read in Joel where God says that He will restore His kingdom to its fullness from everything that has been stripped by locust and we will have fullness and never be brought to shame. Then He goes on to say that he will pour out his spirit on us…..oh we are living in the time where the World needs the Mercy of God more than ever and We will rise and meet the need of His people. What a responsibility but that fades away in the Awesome God we serve that give us all the strength mercy peace love kindness that we need to do his work…Just draw close to the Maker and keep our focus on Him and nothing will hinder us….
Sorry Sorry Sorry I am getting all carried away and blabbing along…cant help it though. We still praying…hold on can you here it in the distance?? Glory to God, Glory to God, Glory to God Forever!!
Receive Gods blessing and be a blessing to others.
Cheers for now…

How can we not pray for the next part of the journey remembering how it touched our hearts! We may not be there in body but for sure in spirit. God can split a sea just with a thought what more can He do for the souls and hearts of all His children.
Be strengthened, excited & totally the clay in the potters hands.

Hey Louie and team!
Just listened to the podcast. Cannot belive that we are here at the last leg of the world tour. I am so sorry that you guys are struggling a little bit with the Seoul event. I strated a Facebook group to invite some people. Trying to get a nice group together to attend. Even tryingto invite some unsaved people. We (or at least I am) are really excited to have you guys here. I think it is going to be a really good taking out a block of time to spend time in the grace of our Father.

Hey there Passion
We are all still praying here in the last breaths before mexico city, let them be touched like we in CT were! I am hoping for a burst of faith, like seeds that has long since been planted just burst into woods of love for our mighty King, the father and the Spirit.
My friends and I have experienced a long time of blessings and Jesus is actually showing me how to live a life of absolute greatfulness. If you get to a point where you want to thank God like twenty times in one day, you start to realise you are changing and bless the Lord for all that He has done. He is moving like a wave over the world and transformation is sure to come. So we are still praying and praying and praying, because its fun!

Straight from my campus in Mexico City
As a student leader in my campus and a person that knows many people around the country with the same goal and vision as me, I can tell you that Passion is a very expected event. Just me have heard of hundreds if not thousands of people that will be waiting for you tomorrow.
Last year we saw 20,000 people fill the exact same place with Hillsong United. And I know that we won’t be dissapointed this time.
In Mexico we are living a very uncertain time, as most of you have surely heard in the news, the insecurity is very high, the economics quite bad, etc. The society is asking, shouting for a solution.
That’s why I know Passion will come to change many lives, to open many eyes, to stand before a crumbling country in the name of God, and to show the future leaders how to live and be a light among the darkness that’s all around us.
Thank you for whatever is going to happen this weekend. Thank you for whatever will happen after that as I know many thing will change. Thank you for the prayers.
But mostly thank God fot the effort that many people is doing to change the lifes of 25 million “chilangos”…110 million mexicans

Isaías 61 (Reina-Valera 1960)
1 El Espíritu de Jehová el Señor está sobre mí, porque me ungió Jehová; me ha enviado a predicar buenas nuevas a los abatidos, a vendar a los quebrantados de corazón, a publicar libertad a los cautivos, y a los presos apertura de la cárcel;
2 a proclamar el año de la buena voluntad de Jehová, y el día de venganza del Dios nuestro; a consolar a todos los enlutados;

We are praying for you for this weekend to be a memorable encounter with God and a tremendous blessing for your city, as it has been for us!!
With you all the way!!

Louie,
Hi, I’m Sean, a university-aged (graduated, though) guy from Seoul, Korea!
And I’m one of the less than 100 listeners of the Passion Podcast! I’m big fan of it.. And I’m proud of it! :) haha
I’m so looking forward Passion 2008 Seoul!!!! I already bought a ticket. actually two. (for my girlfriend :)) There’s also another big worship conference in Olympic Hall today, it’s called “Glory 2008 Conference”. I will attend there too! :) in few hours haha.
Anyway, Please remember there’s thousands of people in Korea who’s praying for the Passion Conference, and God’s Great move around the world. I’m praying too of course!
So, I want everyone to remember Seoul, and pray for us. :) I’ll pray for you too.
See you in a week! :)

Thank you for visiting Cape Town. The 13th of August is a day that none of us will ever forget. South Africa will never be the same again!
May the team grow from strength to strength as you travel from city to city on the last leg of the tour.

A bunch of us from our church held a prayer meeting for Mexico City and the Passion team last night. One of the group got a picture of God cradling a child in His arms (Mexico City) and looking upon this child with a father’s loving eyes. There was a sense that His heart was breaking for MC.
Be blessed and encouraged Mexico!
Our God reigns.

Hi passion people, so excited today!
At last it is Mexico City’s turn and it feels like my heart wants to burst with joy, know that God will come to do a mighty work in your hearts today and tomorrow and can’t wait to read all about it on the blog in the coming days and hear the podcast. I keep on being reminded of Passion Joburg and the resounding cry ‘Jesus, Jesus, Jesus…’ may that be the cry within your hearts as well this evening and tomorrow, to be moved by His love, His grace and to know Him more and more.
Louie to you and the team – been praying for you guys as well and know that if we ask anything of Jesus that He will do so towards His good purpose. God bless!

We are gonna rock this country. I can’t wait for tonight. To stand along 20,000 people, before God, praising and worshiping, learning how to live along with Him. To stand before a country that’s falling apart because of it’s own greed. To shout the name of God to 25 million people in this city, the biggest in the world.
We’re gonna rock tonight.
October 3rd, 2008 at 2:56 PM
