Indo-mania!
It’s pushing 2 AM and from our 30th floor hotel window Jakarta seems to have settled into another quiet night. But Istora Arena was anything but quiet tonight as over 7000 people united to make a big deal of the Savior of the world in the heart of the most populous Muslim nation on earth.
We have fallen in love with SE Asia (Manila/KL, you were very much in our hearts tonight) and the people of Indonesia have been nothing but amazing. KL, we told them about your prayers for them and the 400++ Blog posts to prove it!!! Thy were pretty blown away by that and were eager to take up the challenge to make sure Johannesburg, SA, is surrounded by thoughts and prayers, too. And moved by your generosity, they gave US $23,500 to help the wave reach South African shores! That’s a movement friends, and what the Passion World Tour is all about.
Once the podcast from KL/Jakarta is up you’ll get to hear more of what these beautiful nights were all about. But our whole team left tonight just shaking our heads at what God is doing around this globe AND floored that we are getting to see so much of it with our own eyes. Every culture and people are unique and diverse, but in some ways every night looks remarkably the same. It’s that Ephesians 4 thing…one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and father of all who is over all and in all and through all.
It won’t be long now before the morning call to prayer will blast from the mosque below. And when it does, I’ll wake up and think about the hope of this city and the presence of God that filled the room as 14,000 hands raised toward heaven lifting up “God Of This City” as a prayer for the 15 million people who call Jakarta home. God is alive and well here, His Church growing in strength and stature. Yet, the final chapter of Jesus’ fame in Jakarta (and the 28,000 islands that comprise this nation) has not been fully written. The future is here though. We worshiped with them tonight as we celebrated the simple, yet profound grace of God in the cross of Jesus Christ.
We are free, we are free, yea the Son has set us free, drop your chains sons and daughters come and run in liberty! Let that wake up this city and the world!

its been nearly 10 months since chicago…
7 months since DC…
and 5 months since atlanta…
… and that makes it really easy to forget how God shook my world each time and how i felt and what i experienced. ive started to loose the sense of urgency and great excitement that surrounded me after i got home… the great joy of feeling and KNOWING that i am free.
but when you post from each of the WT cities i cant help but get goosies, and my heart starts racing and the adrenaline pumps and all those feelings come shooting back! i really cant even begin to say thank you enough times as you (all the passion team) deserve. your reward will most definitely be very large in heaven! thanks for opening our eyes to the greater picture an allowing us to journey with you around the world. our family keeps getting larger and the PARTY in heaven must be roaring!

WOW! That’s all that can be said. It’s beyond words what God did last night, and what He’s doing now. To be honest, yesterday was a very tiring day. The bus trip from Bandung was LONG and HOT!! Arriving in Jakarta, I was somewhat excited to go to the conference, but plainly, I was tired. But after it ended, my buds and I were so full of energy that when, back on the bus, the driver played a karaoke CD, we all started singing to the song in the worst combination of voices ever. Haha. Just a way of exhausting the storage of adrenaline we had. The atmosphere was awesome. The message was simple but STRONG. Just what I needed. Thanks a lot for including Indonesia in your tour. I hope that a lot more youths will have the opportunity to experience what I experienced tonight. Keep doing what you’re doing, and MORE! All for His GLORY! Johannesburg will be so blessed.

Before even I express my admiration and thank you guys 4 last night, I lift my hand high in front of my laptop this morning.
I pray for Johannesburg, I pray that you guys would inspire them with your selfless passion for Christ. I pray that Johannesburg would feel what we felt in Jakarta last night. I pray for the problems and obstacles that this great city and nation are having, and by the name of JESUS everybody that show up at the concert would be a part of its PERMANENT SOLUTION!

Thank you again, Passion. Last night wasn’t just a concert. It wasn’t even about me getting all blessed and soaked in God’s presence. It was about HIM. You guys have ’schooled’ me what it means to have a SELFLESS FAITH.
Words are not enough to express what i felt last night.
But I know I was inspired.

PASSION!! It was such a blessing for me. Thank you for reminding me again that Jesus and His Grace is always here within my reach. I am a sinner, and many of us came too far from perfect. We can’t work ourself out hard enough and worthy enough to be saved. But Jesus came down from His throne to be among us, and paid it all. Isn’t it beautiful.. He is MIGHTY TO SAVE!

First of all i want to say: what a very uptodate blog u’ve done Lui.
It just six hours ago i was in concert. haha.
When i came up to the concert. i thought it just an usual concert. This was my thought “come into the building, hear the music, if the beat great i’ll do some moshing. when it’s done i will come home and fall to my bed..”. But all my thougt is absoloutely DIFFERENT 180 DEGREES! Till now 6 am i still awake.(i dont blame you for that Lui. haha) But what i feel till now is passion to praise The Lord!! I just like brought something very very very special from the concert. And it’s something priceless.. Not a billion rupiah, dollar, euro, even poundsterling can replace it. There is something different i feel till now. The excitment of Jesus Christ. Replace everything.. something you cannot get from money, something you cannot get from your couple, something you cannot get from any console games. IT JUST SOMETHING PRICELESS you cannot get from something human made.. I just want everytime i feel it. Everytime i praise the Lord with all humans. Everytime He hug me tightly as His son.. Oneday i will stand in front of all peoples of every nation and i will worship for Him with them. not a fame of me i search for, but the fame of my and your Father.. Jesus Christ..

Praise the Lord because he rocked last night!!!
He’s truly GOD for our city, our country, our continent, and whole earth.
When the intro played last night and Mr. Louie told us about other Passion all around the world, it feels like we’re not alone as young generations to change and shake the world!
I feel such a massive flood of grace fill us in Istora Senayan!!!
Thx GOD, Passion Team, volunteers and our friends in KL to make yesterday’s astonishing night happen.
We’ll forward the wave of glory and grace to J’Burg by praying for them!
that’s what scientist says, when two areas separated by ocean, one of ‘em got an shaked by earthquake (but today let’s name it GRACEquake), than it will cause a big wave and it’s getting bigger and bigger until reached the other one. Just wait for it guys, maybe right now the wave is still furling around Indian Ocean. 
For you guys in J’Burg, be ready and be prepared because you will receive a bigger massive flood tsunami of grace there since Indonesia and South Africa is separated by Indian Ocean.
One more thing that happened last night than shows how mighty is OUR GOD:
Yesterday, I went to the Passion with my right feet’s little finger got out of joint badly, and it feels so hurt ‘cos in the day before yesterday, I got an accident when jumping barefoot in my exercise, it feels like I’ve broke my little finger and couldn’t make my way to Passion, but He makes all things possible, I can arrive in Istora by driving my own motorbike with bandaged right feet, somehow it hurts badly after I redeem my ticket for the wristband and waiting in the line to get into Istora. The most amazing things happened inside Istora, I’ve planned not to jump, not to do some move to avoid the pain in my little finger. BUT, when the grace of GOD fill me up, I can’t help jumping along and I forgot about my injuried little finger, YOU KNOW WHAT, HE, OUR MIGHTY GOD, FIX MY LITTLE FINGER!!! I can go home and drive my motorbike safely until I arrived home.

WOW! It was amazing what happened in KL and whats more for Jakarta. It goes without even saying it. GOD IS AWESOME(AMEN).
When we entered the entrance, we were given a purple wrist band which indicates passion kuala lumpur on the purple side and passion jakarta on the white side(inside).
We all prayed for Jakarta on that night. It was a great night of worshiping and praising God. Even as we were told to pray for jakarta, we were somewhat told to wear the wrist band until jakarta’s passion world tour is over.
I am proud to say that i wore the wrist band till this morning. Only after i came to my office i cut it off from my wrist. I”ve been praying for jakarta since then till last night(though i was sick). Glad that everything went well in God’s presence in jakarta.

It was d greatest night in my life,, with many young people,, praise and worship JESUS together,,,,so wonderful,,, I cried there, i jumped there, i sang loud there,, i was wild there, hahahaha,, because HE IS WORTHY !!!!
i am not at college anymore, i was graduted 1 years ago., i have a job now…I’ve been followed the training from my company (oil and gas company) for 1 years, i was assigned at TARAKAN and next month i will go to TARAKAN (it is a little island in north east of BORNEO/KALIMANTAN Island).. 4 d first time, i was shock, i dont want to go there,, BUT….

Wow, what an awesome night that was, there I was, with around 7000 other fruitcakes (lol), worshipping, praising, praying and shouting God’s fame.. I can’t believe we went through 4 hours and 15 minutes, it certainly don’t feel that long.. Thank you, Louie, for you and your team’s world tour this year, and thank you for stopping by at our city, and thank you for refreshing us that God’s grace is enough for us, and thank you for reminding us that Jesus is the God of this city and this country.. Thank you for sharing Ashley’s story, it certainly is an inspiration..

What an amazing night, first I didn’t planned to came to passion world tour in Jakarta, because I just moved from Surabaya, East Java-Indonesia. so I didn’t know this city so much, I want to come, I almost bought the ticket in church, but I decided not to bought it, because of some reasons, finally a friend came in last morning and offered me to join Him go to passion last night, and I feel blessed last night, with the songs, the worship, of course Ashley’s journal, many of us are Ashley in a small part, we often felt like we are too mesh up so God didin’t want to love us, well I’m 22 years old, and next week I’ll be in Surabaya for my graduation night too, so Ashley’s story very affected me, so someday when we meet in heaven I don’t wanna say that I feel sorry about her, I want to thank Her for sharing Her Journal with me and peoples in the world, Johannesburg, We, Indonesia praying for you, We know that each one of you are made by God for something bigger, a beautiful plan for each of you, Get ready Johannesburg, Get ready to worship, Get ready to be change, Get ready to make Jesus Fame in the world GBU (^O^)/

Last night, I was determined to be the first to write a comment in this post about Jakarta… but I was too late!
I wasn’t going to come to the conference, hadn’t planned to go at all. I got a VIP ticket from one of my customers. Our CEO was supposed to go but he couldn’t make it so gave the ticket to me. Since it was our customer who gave us the VIP ticket our boss literally “made” us go. Wasn’t too excited about it… I even came late! LOL
I promised myself to leave after checking it out for a few minutes but the few minutes turned into hours and hours of worship!! I ENJOYED IT MADLY!!!!
Even Louie’s story about grace and Ashley was really moving and I found myself crying as I could see my life in Ashley’s… God’s grace is indeed AWESOME!!!!!

You guyssss (The Passion Team), thanks for visiting our lovely city JAKARTA! You guys were a trully blessings for our city esp. our generation that came and having praise and worship with you just for our lovely GOD, Jesus Christ! I realized so many things during the praise and worship and sermont (esp. about the fruit cake thingy, phew! that was a very very very inspiring testimony from ashley thru her journal). i loved to meet her one day
i also received so many blessings (and got reminded that i lived my life just because by His GRACE). I always believe that GOD has always been good to me and with my surroundings, and a word of ‘thank you’ is never enuff for all the things He have done in my life. and btw, i was so happy that GOD has chosen you guys to bless our city. all i can say thank you, thank you, thank you.
