Exciting Day For Passion/sixsteps Family!
With amazing visions of the last World Tour leg dancing vividly in our heads, our team is back in the USA and massively excited about today’s launch of two projects we’ve been waiting and working on for months!.
Last night we were with the Crowders in Austin for the theater release of the Remedy Club Tour DVD, the first full-length concert DVD from DC*B and a bundle of happiness. The concert, filmed in NYC and Atlanta on the Remedy Club Tour, was shown on close to 100 screens across the nation last night to launch the DVD/CD release in stores everywhere today. While the concert footage looked phenomenal on the huge screen of Austin’s Galaxy 10, the DVD contains more stuff than you can imagine. If you love DC*B’s music it’s a must have. And if you’re really into how the guys play the songs you’re going to flip out with all the extra content. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, there’s a live concert CD included!
Tonight, we’ll be with Charlie Hall here in Atlanta as his band launches their newest offering, The Bright Sadness. All I can say about this one is that Charlie is one of the most honest writers you’ll ever find, brilliantly crafting songs about the redemptive hope of God without minimizing the arduous struggle of life in a broken world. The album is amazing! [I'm hoping all of you who maxed out our crazy pre-order and have received yours can attest to that!] It’s so Charlie: Unique. Powerful. True.
For us [especially Mike and Shelley with sixsteps and our friends at EMI CMG] these projects are works of love, sweat and tears. We are so proud of what these guys are bringing to the world and pray favor on every disc as the music explodes for His fame in people’s hearts around the world. Enjoy!

Just picked up my mail and was so excited to find my DCB DVD and Chalie Hall CD waiting for me! I can’t wait to see & hear them! Thanks to all at sixsteprecords and at Passion for everything you do. May the name of Jesus be known by all across the world!

I have always thought Charlie was so talented. I was thrilled to find the CDs in my mailbox today. The Charlie’s CD is absolutely fantastic. It’s not just a great worship record, it’s a great record in general. I listened to it on the way to work today and I haven’t been able listen to it. I can’t wait to ride home and listen again.
I was also at the Atlanta Crowder show and can’t wait to relive it! Thanks so much for the awesome pre-order deal and the absolutely great content y’all are putting out.

Yes, I can attest to that! The Bright Sadness is so good. The lyrics are so, so rich and it’s also very different than anything he’s done before. A good different! Love it.

Two great CD!…now Charlie Hall’s CD is #17 on itunes, woohoo! Ill be listening and singing to this cd for a while!!!! Also excited about Charlie coming near in the coming weeks for a small concert..yeaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!

hey! i loved getting to see the band on the big screen– when i saw ‘em in dallas, they were a bit tiny from where i was! it’s so great to hear all that is going on with the Passion tour– i’ve been a podcast listener for a while now, but i just got back from Liberia and so i’m having to catch up a bit on all that went on! i’m praying for you guys and i can’t wait to get the cd when i can find enough money! much love and God bless!

Charlie’s new cd is superb. I have all his cd since Porch And Alter and he just keeps getting better. Lyrics like “and I hate it that I wrestle with the God that I adore” are just so profound.

Yes, I got my CDs on Saturday and meant to tell you all how BEAUTIFUL Charlie’s CD is. I am sometimes thankful for my long commute to work : ) I actually found myself saying aloud in my car “beautiful, beautiful, beautiful” as I was listening to it. Interesting, as in Thom’s comment just prior to mine, I was touched by the same lyric “and I hate it that I wrestle with the God I adore.”

it was great to see charlie at 722 last night. i got the cd and at first listen two songs jump out maybe cause they speak to where i’ve been in a way. you know coming out of a desert looking for some brightness out of saddness. they are scenes cause i can’t tell you how many sunsets, clouded skies that produced cool rainbows and full intense moons i gazed at an was remined in some way that God was and is still in control…the other was my brightness. totally described the moments of transition that i wasn’t able to always put words to but described feelings. thanks again for a definite fav where all of the songs are so very true and so very close to home. I got mine in the mail on Monday and been listening during my commute back and forth from work. Now have some new tunes for my road trip to FL in a coupla weeks. Sounds great guys….you rock!!! Will get the chance to watch DVD over weekend…can hardly wait!!
