Beautiful Kuala Lumpur
It’s going to be hard to describe the beauty of this night, a huge celebration of the grace of God in the midst of the biggest collision of cultures I have ever seen. 4000 people packed into the Sunway Convention Center tonight, representing a giant mix of nations, students studying here in Malaysia from throughout Asia, Africa and the Arabic speaking world. And tonight they were all about one story, one name, one fame.
Passing through the five-story mall to get from the hotel to the convention center (Sunway is resort-ish and about 30 minutes from the main city center of KL) there’s the ice rink, every store imaginable, kids who look like kids anywhere on the planet, women in burkas, teen girls with head coverings and others sporting cowboy boots and skirts. Music is pumping from the rink and a huge crowd of people are waiting for the doors to open for Passion Kuala Lumpur. It’s a little hard to grasp, but right here in the mix is a story that is changing the world. And tonight we were with the future of not just a nation–but of nations!
The place was loud and the message was grace…God doing what we could never do to span the gulf of our wrong and put us back together with Him forever. Charlie and Chris were an amazing team. Their songs were already echoing through the nation before we arrived and were powerful anthems of freedom and life tonight. And the faces were like heaven on earth, every nation, race, tribe and tongue. As our camera crew grabbed hellos from those waiting outside they met students from all over the world, the first one being from Tehran, Iran! So while we were thrilled to be in Malaysia, we knew tonight was about something shifting in the whole world.
Manila, your smiling faces greeted your friends here tonight and the promise of your prayers was an encouragement to us all. KL, this was a special night! Thank you for joining the wave and giving so generously for Jakarta. I’m told you gave 55,000 Ringgit (over $15,000 US) to make a night like tonight possible in Indonesia. That’s a huge wow! Thank you.
We are praying for you Kuala Lumpur. You are destined to be history makers! Go for it.
All for Jesus,
Louie and the Passion Team

Thank you guys for an amazing, AMAZING night - I’m definitely thanking God for giving me the opportunity to attend tonight’s conference. Thank you also for redefining God’s greatness in my life; if I had dedicated my life to him before, that dedication has been renewed and recharged. Really, there is no thanks that I can say that’ll be big enough to express me at this moment.
Will definitely be praying for Jakarta - they’re going to have a blast once you guys get down there! God’s gotta be really happy up there right now. Glad you guys liked Malaysia - from the sound of the crowd, we definitely liked you!
Have a safe trip and God Bless. ^^
PS: Am a fruitcake - glad to be one, considering how crazy-cool we are! >D

Among so many conferences I’ve been to, Passion or Soul Survivors ones always proved themselves different. Today I know why, because we actually break into groups and PRAYED.
In conferences like these, prayer makes a lot of difference- a WHOLE lot of difference! And I’m sure, as my heart is stirred, many are too and that we’d bring this passion back to our work place, schools, college and churches! I pray as we go back tonight, we won’t just say, “Oh hey, awesome night, haha.” But it’ll be a night that we will never forget.
Thank you so much for being a blessing and making your stop here in KL. To worship with Christ Tomlin and Charlie Hall was awesome, and also Louie!
Anyway, Charlie Hall, I just want tell you that “Marvelous Light” is like my theme song. It’s AWESOME that you had that in your worship!
God bless y’all!

Thank you Manila for praying for KL Passion Tour. Just came back and was greatly blessed… Thank you Manila for praying for us in KL. I agree w Ralph from Manila that as a guy we seldom cry… I cried at the end of the diary sharing and during the song Mighty to Save… This message reminds me to move on to a higher limit for God… I have been praying about being a worship leader in my church and I was playing the piano during worship for the past 10 years. And I know that now’s the moment to go ahead by faith, in order to bring His children to worship Him together as a family… Thank you once again Manila for your prayers~~ Its our turn to pray for Jakarta 5th of Aug(Tues)… Continue to pray for the Passion Team and may the Lord bless His children abundantly~!~

Wow, the atmosphere was awesome. I mean, wow, so many of us worshipping at the same time! And wow, LOUIE!!! I was sorta kinda hoping to get an autograph or something
. . I was rather, erm, shocked? Surprised? when Louie’s reading outta a journal? Huh? And.. hey,,, that sounds familliar… Hey… there’s even my name… It was great, i mean, a this very moment I have an “Ashley” that suddenly pop up in my life 2 weeks ago. This “Ashley” pulled away from going to this conference at the last minute, awww..Yet I am truly encouraged. And believing that the grace of God is sufficient.
THANK YOU! God bless

I am proud to be the child of God to be in this moment of history, praying as one for the God to move heaven and earth.
Lou…Ashley’s story had me weeping mad specially on “screw ups”, it reminded on me on the opportunity we (ze fruitty cake nationz) all have to make a difference as what christina did. Just as u shared the story, images of the people i love flooded through my head and I hope, God will touch their hearts one day.
I am encourage on the power of prayers, the impact of praise and worship and i pray that passion will continue to cause a wave across the globe.
Isaiah 26:8 “Yes Lord, walking in the way of Your truth we wait eagerly for You, for Your name and renown are the desire of our souls.”

August 3rd, 2008 at 1:12 pm
God was moving in that place tonight.
Indeed there is noone like our God. He is awesome, He is magnificent, He is great, and He is gracious.
The message was loud and clear. These lives that we’re living are not our own, for we have been redeemed by our Lord Jesus. And so the only way to respond is to live our lives entirely for Him. To say ‘Yes Lord’ with no questions and no hesitations. He deserves all that and so much more.
Thank you Passion Team for dedicating your lives to the work of God, to making Jesus’ name famous throughout the entire world.
God bless you!
Eugene.

YES LORD, YES LORD, YES YES LORD!
August 3rd, 2008 at 1:16 pm
Passion KL 2008 really blew my mind out. It didnt took Chris, Charlie and Louie a 12 member band to rock the house and to stir the spirit of worship among the congregation. God’s anointing is truly with Chris, Charlie and the rest of the band and team. I’m convinced God has heard all the prayers and was pleased to minister to all of us who attended tonight’s conference.
Ps. Louie: Thank you for your unceasing efforts for the young people, your sharing has truly blessed me infinitely tonight. Your approach in tonight’s message of salvation and grace is definitely anointed and authored by God Himself that millions of souls would hear the name of Jesus and make Him more famous, and last but not least, be saved. Now i’m ever more prepared to make more disciples for Christ! I cant stop thanking you and your team, and i am now not ashamed anymore to let everybody know that my God is the world’s local God! He’s the same everywhere and is just awaiting us to receive that grace that He has given to us.
Jakarta (yet another Muslim nation) and the other cities, we’re praying for you!!!
May God continuously use Passion powerfully.
“All glory to God forever and ever, Amen”
August 3rd, 2008 at 1:17 pm
Hmmm……Can’t find the right words to describe tonight’s experience. It was a wonderful time in God’s presence as many nations represented in one nation here in KL praised and worshipped God together with one voice. We really had a wonderful time out here. I will forever re-live the experience.
Chris Tomlin, Charlie & Band: It was really inspiring getting to see y’all face-to-face and to lift up the name of our God in the same auditorium under your leadership. God Bless You!!!
Louie Giglio: Your message pierced through me. It really revived a part of me that seemed to be falling asleep. I’m so challenged to reach out to more souls…Who knows, i Just might be leading another “Ashleey” to Christ:D. God Bless You Lots!!!
MANILLA: Thank You so much for praying for KL and for giving. It was a wonderful experience, your prayers were effective.
JAKARTA: We are praying for you. May you experience the move of the Holy Spirit even as you get ready to worship HIM like never before.
PASSION TEAM: The Lord Be With You. May the Lord enlarge Your Territory even as You continue in your mission of reaching out to more Campus students for Christ.
And may all University Students’ the world over and other true Worshippers come to see the need to reach out to souls and Proclaim the coming of Our God.
OUR GOD IS THE ONE TRUE GOD!!!
PRAISE GOD!!!

August 3rd, 2008 at 1:18 pm
Well, thank God Almighty for bringing the Passion team to KL and our Manila friends’ prayers to make all of these possible.
It was indeed a great experience and truly rocking concert for us youths to sing praises unto him and devote our time in worshiping him.
Very good message and testimonial by Louie and wonderful performance by Chris, Charlie and the band.
We will definitely pray for our friends in Jakarta to experience the same or perhaps even better.

All glory to the King for yet another successful and glorious Passion event.
I am one of those who attended PASSION MANILA who are very very very much happy and blessed to know that you people in KL caught the message and music of Passion.
Passion KL in Sunway has already ended, but I still have my wrist-starp on!
Moreover, I believe whatever the Lord has stored in you, KL people, will continually grow, thus making Passion KL a continuous movement.
MANILA/ PHILIPPINES loves KL!
God bless ya’ll, fellow fruitcakes
August 3rd, 2008 at 1:25 pm
Awesome time of worship. But i guess the best part of all is the message. Indeed, there’s no one out of reach of God as he is Mighty to Save! I believe this will be one of those nights which we’ll never forget for a long long time. The words of Mighty To Save really gave me a whole new meaning today. Doesn’t matter how screwed up a person is, he/she is never far from God’s mercy and grace.
Indonesia, you’re in our prayers. Have a great night and most importantly, lets impact our nations for Christ! We’re neighbors and we will encourage each other so that Christ’s name will be lifted up high in this region.
August 3rd, 2008 at 1:27 pm
WOW.. my eyes can’t get any bigger than what it has been today at this conference. Thank YOU so much for making this possible for people in this nation to be part of this wonderful conference! Its my first ever christian conference and this is awesome! Can we have more??
Truly our God is a great God, an indescribable God. It’s amazing how God can work through this conference, or through the little journal that the girl pen down (’fruit cake testimony’).All glory to Him.
We just need to say ‘Yes’ to all that He has planned for us..cause that’s the best way because is His plan for us. Truly it was a powerful message. And now I understand better of being ‘weird’ but yet we ACT normal because we want others to experience the greatness of our God!! Thank you so much.
And yes, we’ll keep Jakarta in prayer that the message will touch many hearts like what it did in Passion KL!
May the Lord be with you.. =)

Hey Louie! Wow! That update was quick! Anyway, I guess we should have commented in smaller groups of 3. Because now, what I wanted to say was already said in all the comments above. Never the less, WOWWW!!!
THE ALMIGHTY ONE, thanks for Your presence in that place tonight. Glad(not very) that we finished at 10pm. I guess if we would have went on, the place is going to EXPLODE! WOW! My God is so so REAL!
Worship team, you guys were AWEEEESOME! Chris Tomlin & band, you guys were as fantastic as ever! Charlie Hall & band, honestly, this is my 1st time listening to you guys and to let you know, you guys rocked HARD! Very very creative & unique musical approach. Awesome music!
Louie & his GRACE message. What a message, from now on, I guess Isaiah 26:8 will be stucked in our heads. What more could we ask for from a God who loved us so so much and does not condemn us. Who died for us, taking all our sins with hi, and yet being such a graceful God. Tell me someone who is better than Him?! NONE I guess. Jesus is MY MAN!
To Ashley, RIP girl. Truely, this night her journal touched the hearts of many many many many. Turning from a party animal to a fruitcake. Well, that’s how our God works. Krista, you did a great job. You have been really practicing grace all these while. Ashley’s family, thanks for the journal. I believe as the journal goes on with the Passion World Tour to the 10 other cities, it will bring many many to saving knowledge of Him. What a testimony!
And lastly to all who attended, remember to put into practice what we all have learned tonight. Let’s make a difference shall we? But remember(!), as CRAZY as we Christians are, once in a while, we gotta lay down so that others can connect to us.
I am really really glad to be part of Passion KL. I was actually hesitating to go but perseverance paid off. Thank you Jesus, it changed my life!
Lastly, JAKARTA, be very very prepared! Our God is surely gonna bring your city to a higher level. Will be praying for you guys.
Till then, take care, God bless!
-Kelvin-

hey, what a fantastic night!!! hearts were definitely moved (at least mine was!) from the worship to the message, to the reading of the journal, which is to me the most touching journal, as it describes exactly what I went through!! I was very sad, and im sure everyone was when you said she passed away in an accident :’(.. anyway, mighty to save was THE song for the occasion, as you talked about Christ who has no sin, took all the sins of the world, so that we can be righteous to God!.. anyway, fantastic work done, I never screamed and worshipped so hard in my life before, so I hope you come again to Malaysia to help me go CRAZY!!!
the nation of Malaysia will pray for the next stop Jakarta, as well as other cities as you continue you world tour. You may not read this, but i assure you, we in Malaysia wants to see the whole earth’s heart beat as one, for Jesus Christ alone!! all the best as you go on..
August 3rd, 2008 at 1:40 pm
Wow.
Never have I had the privilege to see so many people moved by God. So many people moved FOR God.
Thanks to the whole Passion team and anyone else who helped out for making something like this possible. It couldn’t have been an easy task, but you guys made it happen and I couldn’t be more grateful.
We were reminded tonight why we have been blessed with the gift of life. Reminded why we tread the ground that we walk on.
One name.
Jesus
KL isn’t the biggest city in the world, but that doesn’t mean that we cannot do great things. It doesn’t mean we can’t make a difference for God.
Because we can.
And we will.
–
Look out Jakarta, He’s gonna blow your minds!
You guys are in my prayers.

Louie,
Just came back from hearing Andy stick up for you at the 11AM service. Apparently, he got a lot of nasty emails in response to your message “Fruitcake and Ice Cream”. Everyone applauded when he explained his reaction.
We’re really proud of him. We’re really proud of you. We love the
fact that you were so real and gave us such a clear, honest look inside the heart of someone experiencing Christ on both sides of the cross. We know you’re going to keep telling that story in its semi-censored version regardless of what we say. But, we wanted to encourage you anyway and to let you know that we think God gets great glory when real, frustrated, turned-off-by-church-people people speak candidly about His incredible efforts to invade their life with His grace.
Let us know when you’re back in town and we’ll bring Starbucks over to the Passion House. No, we’re serious. Do it.
August 3rd, 2008 at 1:52 pm
I have been following the podcast ever since when Passion had its conference at Atlanta! I was praying that something like that would reach Malaysia and change and impact the lives of the young people in Malaysia though God’s mercy and grace!
And tonight it was a dream come true, worshiping together as one with many sons and daughters of Christ in one accord! It was a good refreshing time for me and also igniting the fire within me again to reach the city of Kuala Lumpur for there is more to come!
Louie: It was such a good message! Very God empowered! It is amazing how God works in ways that we cannot comprehend! What a great testimony! I would share the testimony right on and bring another Ashley to Christ! May God bless you and your family Louie!
Chris, Charlie, and band: Loved the worship! It was awesome! Simply breathtaking! It led and brought me to a whole new level of worship! Also, very inspiring songs! May God continue to work through you guys into making many other worship songs that would bring people to their knees and closer to God than ever before! Rock it all out for JESUS!
To the other UNSUNG HEROS that made Passion08 possible!: Great work guys! Keep it up! Really appreciate you all! We are the body of Christ and together with God, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! Each part is important and no one is left out!
I will be keeping Jakarta in prayer! Speaking of which, on the way home which took me 25 minutes, I prayed for Jakarta! And I will continue to do so!
P.S - Do have a safe trip! And God bless!

August 3rd, 2008 at 2:03 pm
I have a heart-felt thought which prompted me to write these prayers here..
To : Manila, Philippines may the God of this city bless you for your faithfulness and sacrifice towards the building of the Kingdom. May whatever you set your hands to do, may it carry a powerful anointing that would be instantly recognized and also distinctly identified as a force that only King of Kings can bring. Let your love for the Lord be always loud, let neighboring countries hear your shout of praise. Breaking the sound barrier, let heaven rejoice together with you. God is doing something Big in your midst. Amen
To : Jakarta, Indonesia. The Lord hears your cry towards justice and peace. May what we have experienced in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia tonight be also the same for you guys on the 5th August, Tuesday night if not even better. Let not your creativity in the spirit realm be limited by the lack of space or any other limitations that will be attempting to deter your hungry spirit for the presence of the Lord. I pray Jakarta, Indonesia that your love for the Lord will be stronger than ever. Lord, I pray that your spirit will move within the hearts of these young indonesians of Jakarta that night. May this be more than just a one-off experience they will endure, but may it be a life-changing juncture in their life. Lord, I commit the conference into your hands, bless them as how you have blessed us. Amen.
To : And last but not least, Passion team. You’ve been truly a blessing. Rm20 was a real steal in my opinion. We’ve been very blessed by your ministry. There were many bands out there that the Lord could have used. But the Lord chose you guys, and though reaching the nations is already a very “WOW” big thing. I believe that the Lord has greater things installed for you, the best is yet to come. You’ve been here at a specific time for a purpose. And that has been achieved. All the best on the following 10 steps, may the Lord send his angels to protect you guys always with your coming in and going out. Amen =)

Mind Blowing, Life Changing, Experience I ever had. Frankly speaking we had an Praise and Worship session the night before the event. We were over whelmed as a budding youth group over what Jesus Christ had spoke unto us. I believe with all my heart and soul, that the spirit of God moved so deeply in each and everyone of us. A good seed had been sown. The reward would be plenty. There will be a ginormous reaping ahead for the nation world wide.
We had visions of every person regardless age, sex, cultural background, singing praise and worshiping that one true God. I was overwhelmed by the end of the event I gathered my Youth Leaders, Thomas Josob and Jennifer Joni Thomas and our youths and just praise God and give thanks for giving us an opportunity to experience his Glory for it took only one generation to expose the world who The King of Kings is, and a huge revolution is going to take place where us as young people would reach out to every nation unifying in one voice, one mind and one heart.
P/S: Ps Louie, do look us up our facebook group: RADICALLY SAVED.
Its an open invitation to everyone…
Amen!

I was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Blessed by Every aspect of the conference tonight.. Thank You Passion For an Amazing time of worship and word. We really Thank God For people like all of u. It was Such an AWEOSME night of just Being in God’s presencewith So many other worshipping young people… It was truly an awesome experience. I was especially moved by the story of ashely and her fruitcake
It reminded us that we are all actually called to be ‘fruitcakes’ to the world out there… Just to Love them and potray the love of Jesus to them as how christa showed god’s love to ashley. My parents run a children’s Home here in KL and everyone one of these kids have come to know Jesus in such a special way. We have 40 children with us in the Home and Praise and Worship is such an important part of our lives with the children. One of their favourite songs for worship is “might to save” which was the same song that touched ashley’s heart and also not forgetting Chris’ “How great is our God”. After hearing what was shared during the sermon tonight, I am so Hyped to share with them Ashely’s story and how this song touched her heart and changed her view of God.
Chris, Charlie & their bands were amazing as well. The spirit of God was just so Dense in the auditorium tonight… and in Every song that was sung. Just that night before the conference, a few friends and i gathered together for a short time of praise and worship and we prayed for the conference that was going to take place tonight and one of us had a vision that God was going to do something HUGE at the Passion Conference and true enough, it has definately birthed such a wave that will definately take KL by storm. Seeds have been sowed and lives were definately been changed, all for His greater glory..
Thank You Ps Louie and the Whole of Passion for bringing down such an amazing night with Our King! I pray that You are all Blessed and remain Blessed in him… We will be praying for Jakarta. We certainly dont want them to miss out on what God has planned for them and what He is gonna do for them thru Passion…!
MAy God Bless You guys ABUNDANTLY…!!!

This experience was definitely worth wayyyyyyy more than the RM 20 we paid. The band was exceptional. It has been a while since I’ve been so touched during worship. May you guys continue the good work in the next 10 cities and may they be touched by your awesome worship too!
Louie, the sermon was EVERYTHING that I needed to hear. I admit I do not fall too far from Ash in terms of being a “screw up”. About time I changed my ways and be nicer to the fruitcake God had so graciously provided =)
To Manila, I thank you guys for the prayers and blessings. To Jakarta, may you steal the “Craziness” title from Sau Paulo and my the concert touch you the way it has to Kuala Lumpur.
To all those involved in this concert, I thank you all for taking your time to give us all this opportunity.
Cheerio.

Sidenote :
Do come to Malaysia again next year
August 3rd, 2008 at 6:59 pm
During the concert, I was struggling with pride. I was critically analyzing Louie’s speech, especially about grace. I asked God to show me something glorious.
Show me something more glorious than the heroes of old. Of the prowess of Achilles in battle and his death. Of the perseverance and cunning of Ulysses. Of Heracles’ persistence and labors. Or the 300 Spartans who defied an army of 3 million at the battle of Thermopylae.
What is more glorious than Moses parting the Red Sea, or Joshua conquering the promised land? What is more dazzling than the miracles performed by Jesus? What about the kingdom of David and his victories? After all, it is Jesus that claims to be God of gods, King of Kings and Lord if Lords.
Louie did not speak about the glory of the universe nor did he speak about the mysteries of the atom this time. He spoke about a sinner named Ashley who repented. He spoke about grace.
Then I understood that the grace of Jesus Christ that leads men to repentance more glorious than any of these.
Luke 15:7 NIV
I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

A group from our church traveled from Northern California to Passion LA in January. We were challenged to give and pray for the World Passion tour stop in Jakarta! It is finally here. So, 4 am Tuesday California time is 7 pm Tuesday Jakarta time. We are praying for Charlie and Chris and Louie and every volunteer. We are praying for each person that attends. May His name become famous in Jakarta.
August 3rd, 2008 at 7:51 pm
what an AWESOME night!!!
it was a great reminder that although we can just get so caught up at being so amazed by His work in our lives, we do not exist for just that but that we still carry the mission of spreading His love.
although i’m no longer a student, i thank God for hearts like yours and the team’s in reaching out them.
the night was unbelievable yet so real! all glory to Him!
August 3rd, 2008 at 7:54 pm
Wow. What can I say? I am simply amazed.
The event was mindnumbing and mindblowing.
Being a veteran of many, many Christian events, I’ve seen events come and go, without bringing any significant impact.
However, Passion was different. I was filled with a different kind of expectation the very moment I stepped into the Convention Centre.
It was a sensation, an electrifying atmosphere that got me buzzing, and with that, immediately there was a stirring of excitement and genuine hunger deep within my spirit that was way beyond description.
At that moment, I thought it was just me, I thought I would go home disappointed.
But man, how WRONG I was! The night was no ordinary concert. It was an encounter, not just any ordinary encounter, but a REAL encounter. An encounter which I pray will remain in the university students of Malaysia to make this night last through many, many generations.
When the music played, when the voices echoed through the hall, when hearts were gathered to pray, when the ears pricked up to hear the Word, I believe lives were touched, hurts were healed, people were restored.
THANK YOU MANILA FOR YOUR PRAYERS, I verily believe that it was the prayers from all the nations of the world that left an incredible impact in our lives.
Next stop, Jakarta! My heart goes out to you in prayer - and to the remaining cities of the world where Passion is going!
And THANK YOU, to everyone in the PASSION! Thank you for choosing to sacrifice your time and your lives to sow and bless this country! History was made, God is moving in this country, be rest assured that the passion of Jesus you guys have sowed in us will bear fruit very, very soon.
I’m changed as I walked away from yesterday night a different man, it’s because of the knowing that the righteousness of God is in me.
Come on people, SING SING SING!
August 3rd, 2008 at 8:04 pm
Oh..WOW..how humbling and awesome to be part of this - of God moving hearts and minds of university students around the world. And to think that the short prayers for KL prompted by my green/white wristband were echoed by hundreds, if not thousands, here in Manila, and felt by thousands more in Malaysia…well, Jakarta, brace yourselves because OUR GOD IS MIGHTY TO SAVE!!!
Praying that our Savior would move mountains in Jakarta!
And let’s keep praying that greater things would indeed come to our cities, that revival and spiritual awakening would sweep through our universities and churches and nations…that everyone would know someone who truly follows Jesus, whose flame burns in Christ’s flame, whose soul is passionate for the Lord’s renown: that every Ashley would know a fruitcake, and in knowing a fruitcake, would experience God’s wondrous, amazing grace.
August 3rd, 2008 at 8:07 pm
Thanks Louie for coming over to KL.I got a great, powerful, boosting, energetic, encouraging (i am not getting anymore synonyms to put forward)night at Kl yesterday. It was meaningful coming all the way from Singapore especially for me.

God Bless..
PS: I am praying for Jakarta.
August 3rd, 2008 at 8:37 pm
When I started my prayer time this morning I was amazed that the country of prayer for August 3 in “Operation World” was …: Malaysia!
That means thousands of Christians prayed for that country without even knowing about PASSION . But GOD is greater and I believe He moved through these prayers in Kuala Lampur!
I’m excited for heaven to see and praise God when we SEE what the eternal results are!
August 3rd, 2008 at 8:39 pm
WOW. THANK YOU FATHER GOD in coming to the midst of Passion KL!
WOW WOW WOW!!
let’s all be united in our hearts and be fruitcakes altogether, doing things FOR HIS RENOWN.
Passion KL may be over nut I’ll extend my prayers to Jakarta and to the reat of the leg as well. I’m still wearing my wristband with KL still in it…
WOW… many nations come as one all for his glory. Hallelujah!

Dear Louie & team,
Thank you very much for coming to Malaysia! I believe that it’s God’s plan that all of us have come together to worship Him & to be empowered by Him. Jesus loves all of us & He is going to do greater things in our life & every nation. Be prepared for every battle & fight by the power & strength of God! Jesus is coming back soon! Passion KL was great! It’s a reminder of what Jesus has done for us and His call for our lives. I can say that Passion KL had an impact on many of the students from my church, believers and non-believers. They’ve been sharing wonderful stories about how God has touched their lives and the openess in the hearts of the non-believers as well.
“Shine your light and let the whole world see”. May Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia see your light!
Jakarta, you are in our prayer!

praise God for His mighty hand in moving through KL! thank you for being committed to spread the gospel throughout the world and reminding us to do the same! there is no greater message that needs to be heard.
the one main thing i brought back with me is the realisation that there are many ashleys who weren’t there last night, including a friend who couldn’t make it right at the last moment. i was sad yet more determined than ever to make Jesus known no matter what!
will be praying for your team in jakarta and the remaining 10 countries you’ll be visiting. most of all, praying for the young people in indonesia just like me who either need to encounter God or need to be reminded about what being a follower of Christ really means.

Just before the concert, I had a not so nice encounter. I was waiting for friends and they were very very late. The thing is, I don’t even know them. I bought on behalf of friends. and that cause me to go low.
But when the opening started. WOW I can’t stay low because the music was just so good.
Louie, I am a huge fan of yours. It is because every sermon I’ve heard and seen you preach gives me chills. That is just amazing! God has given you a very special gifts.
I am thrilled also that Passion is actually running the whole organizing thingy except a few locals who help out. And it is absolutely stunning that you’re actually pulling the entire world together… something that I am seeing for the 1st time an organization doing that rather than just come-play-preach-go this however is like coming here to write a book and you have just written the introduction page. I hope that made sense…
God bless guys. On and off stage alike.

Hi Louie and the team
I would just like to say it’s amazing what God is doing all around the world through the Passion movement especially in KL. I really believe, as you have said, that something is stirring in the heavenlies and the ripples are felt all over the world.
2 weeks ago we had an event in Pretoria, south Africa, where children of God followers of Jesus, of all ages filled a rugby (sports) stadium with 71 148 people seeking God’s face for our country.
I really prayed for you guys during the KL event and am glad that it went well! Praise Jesus! For there is only one Name… given by which we can be saved!
Will keep prayeing for Jakarta!
Looking forward to Jo’burg! Can’t wait!
Cape Town will also be awesome!
Thanks for the Blog and the podcasts. We really feel that we are a part of the journey.
God Bless!
Good luck for Jakarta

when last did i shout so loud, when last did i jump so high, when last did i sing n feel like it was just me and my God,….when last…….!!!!!! last night honestly was monumentally great, the worship was out of this earth and the youths, my the youths were wonderful….it is really good to know that there are still people(youths to be precise) in Malaysia that can worship like that……yeah.
I’ll sing sing sing and continue to sing about the name of Jesus even if my voice sounds like a toad,.haha…. and sing it to the whole world starting 4rm Malaysia .
And so i want to thank you Passion for such a wonderful night and may the Lord continue to be your strength even as you continue your tour.
Please send our greetings to Jakarta and tell them that they are not alone in this race that even the Christians(especially the students) in Malaysia care and we are praying for them as well….cheers

Who would have thought that the “passion” movement would land itself here in the heart of Malaysia! I still remember the time watching Passion: One day on dvd long long time again, and thinking when will it come?
But now, it is no longer a thought but a reality, a history made!
Thank you so much “Passion” for making this possible, but ultimately Praise be to God most high for this heart thumping, mind boggling, and soul jumping gift of salvation!
I want to join in this movement to reach the heart of the young people, and i believe in what has been said, that we are all different in culture, race and nations, BUT we all share that same heart beat, the Name that is above every other name..JESUS!!
Passion KL has open my eyes again to see the need for Jesus in our UNis and Colleges. I want to be in this wave of renewal!
Jakarta, i will be praying for this very wave of God to hit your city tomorrow, and that this fire will spread like wild fire!
Christ has died, Christ is RISEN, Christ (will surely) Come AGAIN!!!

I really thank God that Passion has come to KL!! all i can say about the conference yesterday is WOW! Worship by Chris Tomlin and Charlie Hall was wonderful.. they really sang from their hearts..exalting God, lifting up His name. truly you guys have the Heart of Worship. and the band! beautiful music you guys have played. Louie, your message was simple but full of impact. surely we have to go crazy at the thought of the Grace given by God! and the story of Ashley and “fruitcake” touched so many hearts, where i believed many people cried at the end of the story, myself included.
Passion team, continue to rock the nations for Jesus! Manila, thanks for your prayers!! Jakarta, get ready for an amazing night with God. don’t miss Passion Jakarta!!!
August 3rd, 2008 at 9:53 pm
Thank you so much Passion for making this wonderful night to experience God’s unending love for us and also to worship God the Almighty with all arms-stretched across the Convention Centre. I must say that you guys did a MIND-BLOWING night for all of us. God’s presence was so strong and I believed that it will be even better in Jakarta.
Passion KL is a great night and did made me realised my mission for God. Your message for the night was totally encouraging and I believed it did fired up every single youth in Malaysia to expand God’s kingdom throughout the nation.
Passion Jakarta, Get ready for a MIND-BLOWING night and a life-changing experience. I will praying for all of you !!

Thank you Passion for coming here. The worship that you all brought to us was totally awesome. Chris and Charlie raised worship to a whole new level in my life. During worship, it totally blown me away at how awesome God works through the many people like Chris and Charlie with music and through Louie’s preaching (which i may say is awesome..very refreshing) and lastly is the organising commitee and the other volunteers and crew. Without the efforts and contribution we would not have an awesome nite. Wanna applaud yu all for your efforts and you have been a major blessing to everyone who step foot through the doors of passion KL.
Lastly not forgetting Manila for their prayers and contributions. It was cool to see the cheers and praises we received from them.
Jakarta, you are next!!! Be ready to get yr mind blown off the roof…Come with an appetite and expectation. As God will come like a raging wind and sweep everyone of you at the conference..
Once again, have a safe journey ahead Passion team and continue what you guys do best!!!
God bless

Praying for you guys! Praying for you now as you go to Jakarta!!!
August 3rd, 2008 at 10:12 pm
It was an unbelievable nite that lifted up the name of none other but Jesus, thanks to Passion for being instrumental last nite in KL for diverting the focus and lives of young people from all over back to what truly mattered, you certainly spoke a language we all understood, and my prayer is that this is not the end of an event but the beginning of a generation that knew God and did what is right in the eyes of the Lord walked in all His ways.
Jakarta, get your hearts ready coz Jesus has greater things in store for your city!
August 3rd, 2008 at 10:17 pm

else comparable. To Jesus Christ!
Amen - we are praying praying praying hard for souls to be added
to the kingdom. For Jesus to become a reality to the lives of sinners.
Indonesia, Joburg, Cape Town - brace yourself. God is going to be
lifted higher!!:)

You guys ROCKED! In the presence of God you invited into the place I doubt a single eye was left dry… It didn’t matter what nationality we were, we were and still remain all ONE in HIS Precious Name!
When I thought a change of life would not be possible again after getting saved, He proved me wrong and changed my life using YOU GUYS once again. And it’s BEAUTIFUL! Beyond my understanding.
You are destined to make GREAT things in Jakarta! We’ll be all with you in prayers. Let them know JESUS LIVES!
God bless you guys!

Hey Louie & Team,
Last night @ KL was awesome. You guys threw a great party for us people here! What really got me was the fact that there was no “hinting” about the purpose of the party… it was a full on announcement that JESUS was the reason for the gig!!!
I’m a fan. Heard you in Hillsong, Sydney a couple of years ago - and I was blessed! One of my guys got hold of the Indescribable DVD - and we watched it at our youth group a couple of times. Results same each time - open mouthed wonder at the Majesty of God!
I’ve kinda been ‘evangelising’ you guys and the fact that the message is so crucial to this generation. I’m a youth minister btw.
Kudos again, and wow… almost wish I was going Jakarta with you guys. A larger venue, a prepared crowd, Passion…. and Jesus!!!
God bless. And keep the light shining.

Thank you for helping to remind “Ashleys” like me, that Jesus’ love is forever unfailing.
Cheers.

It was simple yet powerful. It has touched lives that were not meant to be touched in this country, the ones who were forbidden to be shared what we have; the gospel and the love of God. I feel privileged to be part of yesterday night.
Will be praying for you Jakarta.
Thank you once again, Passion!
August 3rd, 2008 at 10:39 pm
Yesterday night was awesome. God’s spirit is indeed moving in each one of us. I could feel goosebumps running up and down during d worship… it was hard to explain what was that but I know that it’s Him! =)
To Louie: Powerful message. It’s like you’re holding a hammer and hammering nails into my heart. Really grateful and blessed by the message. Totally refreshed and renewed me. Thank you Louie.
To Chris: At last, I get to see you! Haha, it was kinda like my dream because I began picking up acoustic guitar seriously after I’ve listen to your songs. =) Make sure you come again ya!
To Charlie: Great songs, great worship, especially the “sons and daughters of God” part. Thank you. =)
To the rest of the team: Make sure you guys come again to Malaysia ya.
To All of you: Continue to become a blessing to other nations, as you guys commit your lives and let God use your lives for the FAME and GLORY of His name!
To Jakarta: Me and my friends are definitely praying for you guys. Be prepared for a mind-blowing experience with God thru Passion 08!
God bless! =)

Hi, thanks a lot for an awesome night, its been really great experience, well i guess the thing i wanted to say here is already evident, through the amount of comments posted, guess we should do it in 3’s. Hahaha. but anyway to Chris and Charlie and the band, its certainly much much diff to hearing u guys on stage than on a cd player. its way better. To Louie thanks for the mind blowing message, it opened diff parts of understanding of how God is towards me and its really cool. guess being called fruitcake isn’t that bad after all if its for the cause of changing the world.
And jakarta, watch out cause the awesomeness of God is coming your way, and hit u hard!
God bless all of u,
Johanan

Hey guys! Passion was completely and utterly superb! Seriously, it has touched my heart and I’m positively sure many others too! It was great in every aspect (except the huge wave of human crowds at the star
