Our host arranged for us to attend the concert. To say the least, it was a tremendous experience. I knew nothing about Louie Giglio or the Passion Ministries and don't know that I had previously heard of Chris Tomlin. But their ministry that night was a tremendous blessing to each of us. Perhaps the greatest significance of the night can be realized when it is remembered that some 30 years ago, Idi Amin had attempted to stamp out the name of Christ in that great land. On that evening, while Amin is fast becoming a footnote in history, we--thousands of us at the University of Makere--were shouting out the name of Jesus in praise. Our Lord has greatly honored His name! My son (who is in one of the pictures above) and I were in Kampala with a short term mission at the time of the concert. I was spellbound by the miracle that happened at Makerere University and wanted to take a moment to Thank you abundantly. Make the Lord of Heaven richly and abundantly do for you all you ask or imagine. As you travel the globe, I pray He will bless each of you and enlarge your territory. For He alone can. Thank you again for blessing us and the people of Uganda. It was the greatest weekend of my 3 years here serving the kingdom.
