Thanks again for simply being obedient to our Lord’s calling. May His name and glory be known all throughout the world!!!

This past weekend has set things in motion for the rest of my life. I attended the Passion 08 conference at George Mason University. The conference was amazing. The speakers talked about living a life that brings glory to God’s name and asking for the Holy Spirit to work in your life. There were times for reflection and the worship was simply amazing. Then Sunday, Pastor Ray message just reaffirmed what was said at the conference. I was floored! God answered my prayers and revealed himself to me in ways I’ve never experienced. But today, God tested my faith and called me into action. This morning, I had a dream about a girl who I only seen a handful of times. In this dream, the girl was a person who was willing to do anything for anyone in need. The bad thing was I was late for work though. My father tends to encourage (or ride) me in the morning about being on time, which he should. But this morning, I took my time getting ready. Throughout the morning, this dream was still on my mind. After taking my time reflecting on the dream and getting ready for the day, I ended up being about 30 minutes late to the train station.
While standing on the platform waiting for the train to come, who do I see walk pass me, the girl from my dream walks pass me. In my mind, I was thinking “God is you serious right now?” I watched her to see what train she got on and I followed. I started doing my quiet time then I hear, God telling me to go talk to her. I started to write in my journal as to what God is telling me to say. Simultaneously, I was nervous due to the fact I have no clue who she is and she doesn’t know who I am. But, I finishing writing what God was telling me, I hear Him tugging on my heart saying “Get up and Go, get up and go.” So I finally put my pride aside and listened to God and I went over and prayed for the moment to do this. I only had 3 train stops until my stop. So I walked over to her and said, “Excuse me, I know this is weird, but I wrote this for you. I think you should read this.” She had this puzzled look on her face and she read it. After reading the note she said still bewildered, “Ok and thanks.” As I get off the train, I get this joyous feeling that God is proud of me taking a bold step for Him and in our relationship. I started my steps for living a life that only brings Glory and Fame to His name.
I write this not seeking a pat on the back but to only Glorify God. I pray that we all ask God to work within us to live a life that brings Glory to his Name.

i’ve got post-Passion syndrome again. ever since coming home from DC, ppl have been asking me “how was Passion?”. i open my mouth to answer “it was… umm.. good?”. i realize what i saw and have experienced was indescribable. it was just a glimpse of heaven but im already at a lost for words. im getting more and more excited for what WILL happen when i get to heaven! it’ll be partying non stop! but first, its time to live out this fruitcake life.
