I see a great deal of art from my classmates (which I believe is largely the outpouring of the soul) that translates to me as depleted of hope, confused, and just wanting to rebel. And so it seems that artistic energy in my world has felt dismal and frustrating. Not as it should be. And there's something in me that knows there is more that it could be. C.S. Lewis said something like Christianity does not eliminate the arts, but sets them in the direction that they were made to go. <br/><br/>This weekend's Chicago Passion helped me celebrate what our creativities were made for...and I THANK GOD for your arts (music, visual, etc.) and how you have embraced them.
