You are such an important very needed person. First of all a year ago I was investgating christianity. My brother showed me "How great is our God" he was fortunate enough to attend & see you in person. Thank you for helping me to see a better view of God. Now I collect golf balls....I have one I would love to give you. It is printed with a map of the world on it. I am coming to you with a very big struggle in my life right now. Knowing Christ has given me such a peace in my life however a couple of weeks ago my aunt who was VERY dear to me passed away. I was raised LDS & she was a very faithful LDS member. I loved it! Certain aspects on my life used to be very similar to Ashley's (the whole boyfriend situation) and I could very much relate. It's weird because I went to a Conference over break also and one the speakers was talking to just the girls at the time about relationships and God. She made a comment that we shouldn't let past relationships interfere with our lives because it can affect our relationship with Christ and that hit me hard! Then seeing your video last night, I realized that while I was dating this guy and even after I wasn't living a life pleasing to God and that I needed to move on with what happened between us and that God loves me no matter what, including my screw ups. In the past few months, with being involved with a campus ministry as a freshman, the conference, and this video I am living my life with Christ wholeheartedly! At the end of the video, it hit me harder because "Mighty to Save" is my favorite song and it made me think of one of my favorite Bible verses, Ephesians 2:8-10! Thank you so much for sharing Ashley's story and I am praying for her family and friends everyday from now on! This is the second video I have seen of your talks and I loved both of them! (a proper cringe came across me).. but then he said at the end that paul said "if god can love and forgive me then he can love and forgive anyone" and i thought wooo hang on a minuet man... you dont know what mess ups ive done, i still believed that on saturday before watching your dvd preach that sunday.. then watching your dvd it was like god was trying to bang my head together and go "HELLO HANNAH- i even love the screw ups." what im trying yo say is thanks (im sure it would of been easier to say that straight off but i thought you would like a little of my story) thankyou for being a perfect speaker and amplifier.. so that god finally got his message drilled into my head... i am loved and i am a fruit cake and proud... also my prayers a with Ashleys family and friends.. thanks for taking time to read this.. hannah.x Louie,
