I was a volunteer in the Pure Grace room. The best place to be the entire time if you ask me. One night someone put in my hand a prayer request. I was blown away because my one request on the plane to Passion was for someone to bring me someone with this very request!!! I went nuts, asking where the person was that wrote it. No one knew, it had been written earlier, they couldnt even remember what the person looked like. There was a first name only on the paper. What are the odds I could find this person among the 23,000? God would have to do it. And guess what, 45 minutes before I had to catch the subway to the airport- I FOUND HER!Of course you know I mean GOD found her!!! I still can't believe it. We drove over from Detroit, MI. God showed up in a very real way. Our hope as Christians is so profound and secure because God is so infinitely strong. reconnecting with his strength and power renewed my hope in God. When God increases our faith in how great He is...it unleashes a hope that no circumstance or situation can rob or take away. It is completely based on the everlasting God, His promises, character and abilities and not ours. Maybe that's why the prophet Isaiah said that those who hope in the Lord will "renew their strength"? Hope understands that God is the God of the helpless and the weak and in that reality we find rest for our souls.<br/><br/>Praying for you guys,<br/><br/>andy East Lansing was AMAZING.
