28 Day Prayer Journey To Passion 07 – Day 25
Day 25. Wind.
Jesus is a movement. He’s not into monuments, systems or external structures. He is a river of life, “And everywhere the river flows, everything lives.” Movements are fluid. Movements move. Movements are not always predictable.
Passion began 11 years ago with a desire to spark a movement among this collegiate generation. We’re not the first to have this desire and won’t be the last. We’re just one grain of sand in the Sahara Desert-sized work God is doing around the globe. And, more than anything, we want to fight the tendency to settle and conform. Our brand must be more than catchy phrases and events. Passion will only be a movement when one altered life shines His light in the darkness for all to see. Movement = many lights making a mighty wave for His fame.
The external stuff of Passion07 is not what we’re after, not what we need. Some will be fooled because they fill an arena and sing the songs, deceived because they feel the emotion and shed the tears. Yet without a heart that is honest and open before Him, no Spirit-birthed river can flow. If we’re going to be part of a movement, Jesus must have the freedom to break and reshape every heart.
Lord, we will not be satisfied by outward signs of spirituality, outward expressions alone. Help us. Assist us. We desire to move beyond outward layers that deceive and impress, but do not revive the soul. I’m raising my life to you. Wind of the Spirit, come. Don’t let me stagnate. Blow me onward. Wildly. Forward. Powerfully. Godward.
For Jesus sake, Amen.

Lord, Passion is pointless if my life after it does not change. Change me through this. Let me see your fame Lord, and teach me to be bold in sharing your gospel. My sole desire in going to Passion is meeting You Lord. Take our hearts and let us murder the desires that are not of You, and let us seek You wholly as one body devoted to Your fame. Thank-you for loving us Lord, Amen

My life needs to change. I go through the motions a lot and I need to live it.
God please help me to live out the Christian life better. So that your light will shine through me. Let me not just go through the motions but rather encounter you in other ways that would change me. Amen.

it is all about you Jesus…give us bravery and boldness to share the authentic testimonies you will impart to us at Passion…the seeds You give us Your holy wind will blow to be planted across the nations.
You are wild Jesus. You are beautiful. You instruct the wind and tell the rivers which way to flow. Your hand heals the land, brings it to life and at Your feet we bow.

Joe 2:12*13 “Yet even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning; and REND YOUR HEARTS AND NOT YOUR GARMENTS. Return to the Lord, your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love; and he relents over disaster.
May we come to Passion in less than a week fully expecting to meet with the Maker. May we pray for the grace to rend more than the physical and the shallow. May we offer every moment we have, every dream and aspiration, every thought and intention, every action and absolutely everything to the only one who is worthy of it.
May we not sell ourselves short by attempting to hold on.
May we experience the freedom of true release.

God, may Your true wind which separates wheat from chaff and ash from goodness come searing through my life until You are all that is left.

May your living water flow in the hearts of everyone at Passion!! Overflow there hearts, Over flow Passion with your Presence and may they feel you moving, Lord break the hardened Hearts may they be open fully to you!!!
We Praise Your Precious Name- WE WANT TO BE NEW!!! We desire to be more like YOU God. Nothing else in this world satisfies my soul I can look and look and get everything I want but still fell empty searching for something greater!!

Father,
I come before you today as I prepare to make the journey to Atlanta. I am going in response to your invitation to come. You’ve put this collegiate generation on my heart. I desire to see them come to know you as I have. There is none like you. No one will ever be more devoted and committed to us than you are.
It is an HONOR to serve you as I serve these precious students and leaders as a volunteer. I go in your strength to bring honor and glory to your name.
Open our hearts to receive what you have in store for us as you await our arrival.

I’ve been listening to my new Best of Passion so far CD, and I love how it chronicles Passion’s journey. In it I see my own journey as I look back at songs that influenced my life during my middle school and high school days, before I had ever heard of Passion, and into my college experience. I was in Nashville for Passion 05 and 06 and I am humbled as I think about how my involvement with Passion doesn’t come until the end of the second disc. Over a decade of students have gone before me. I am thankful for those a little older than me who have paved the way, who have encountered God and chosen to live lives that declare His name and renown, who are now in adult world bringing glory to God. I love how we are a part of God’s story that has already been happening, how we are tiny specks in His enormous plan, yet He chooses and invites us to find our satisfaction in and to know Him.
Thank you to everyone who is making it possible for us to meet together in Atlanta in a few days. Thank you for your vision and for sharing your lives, your time, your energy, with a bunch of college students. I’m so excited about coming to Atlanta!

I love you God and am so thankful that this will take place ,this generation is so blessed. I pray that they will have this expereince etched on their hearts so they can share ut with the next generation to come.

I think that emotions can be deceptive as you said. I also think a true movement of God in our lives would leave us feeling new emotions toward him and commitment to him that we never knew we could have. That is what I want to see in my life and this generation.

Oh Lord,you know that my heart is honest and open before you. That I long for you to break my heart when it decieves me. Rather than let anything or anyone come between you and me. Most of all I want your light to shine brightly for all the world to see let this humble child be that vessel you use to shine through for Jesus’ fame sake for your glory. In Jesus’Name Amen
