Louie! You said it...revolution is about to explode in Auburn. Everyone has been about to explode with anticipation for about a year now. There's just something about this place. Believers are experiencing revival--changed perspectives, renewed minds, hearts open to more of who God is... Non-believers are seeing more of the grace of God and following that hunger. We recognize that we have no control over what He is doing here but that we can trust that Jesus in us will be about His Father's business. He will have His glory!--and is having it! The Holy Spirit is pouring out His intimacy in lives and accompanying that with the power He intended for believers. I can't even explain how incredible it is! We are finding the freedom to exalt Him alone, not the vision, not the revelation. Those are good but are only here to point us to Him and let Him make His renown know through us.
"Lord, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deedsd, O Lord. Renew them in our day." Hab. 3:2

Louie!
Thanks so much for loving Auburn! I love hearing about your heart for this campus. It is such an encouragement. Friday night was amazing and I did not want it to end. It is so hard to go from that moment of singing high praises to the Lord, to walking to class in the pouring rain. But, that is what we are called to do!
That is what I am trying to learn. How to honor and bring glory to the name of Jesus just living my daily routine.
Thank you for your tireless efforts through out this tour. It was such a blessing to relieve Passion '06 for one night! The Lord showed up in a mighty way reminding me of the marvelous things He taught me at Passion.
Again, thank you for the sleepless nights and thousands of miles of travel. Many are being blessed!!
WAR EAGLE!!!

Louie,
I just got home from Kenya and met a girl there named Erin Rigsby. She is serving among the street children in Nigeria. Seems she was called at OneDay in Tennessee and she is bringing Glory to God by representing Christ to kids in Nigeria. Said she met you at her college during the college visits prior to OneDay. She has huge dreams of Passion coming to Nigeria and is praying that God will raise up Passion to come there. Just wanted you to know that she is praying for this. Keep up the good work. It is a pleasure serving with you for his Glory.

Donnie

Louie- meeting you Friday night was awsome. My two best friends and I were the ones you gave permission to jump up on stage if you didnt play Party. Friday night was amazing. Seeing that many of my fellow students united for God's renown was awe inspiring. Hearing your sermon for the second time threw gasoline on the fire that God rekindled in me at Passion 06 and again, thankyou.

But now to something serious. Your comment on a not safe revolution on our campus. Lets go for it. And since the blog has proven great before with prayer I ask of everyone to pray for my sorority. The Zeta Xi chapter of Alpha Xi Delta here at Auburn. Our officers have decided that the name of Jesus is not welcome. Not even welcome in the devotional at our weekly chapter meetings. For the most part, my sorority has turned its back on our awsome God. And speaking of not safe, I'm taking a step into not safeness by even posting this and could possibly be called before our standards committee. I plead with everyone, PRAYER FOR THE AUBURN CHAPTER OF ALPHA XI DELTA. No worries about me though, God has called me out and of Egypt and I will be depinning at the end of the semester. I'm looking forward to life in the promise land.

Not to end on a depressing note, thanks again Louie and WAR EAGLE!!!!

Our God Reigns,
Laura

Louie, Louie, Louie...

What can I say? The lines of the battlefield are drawn... but when will you go into not-safe enemy territory? I've always sensed that the Christian community at Auburn may be stronger than at the #1 party school of the state, but what about inviting all of Auburn to visit T-Town and throwing a giant PARTY there (like, in Coleman Coliseum)? Now, THAT would be a ministry: both schools coming together for worship...

Anyway, just something to think about. Enjoy the warm sunshine; we've finally got winter back here (it's right around 0 degrees, with lots of snow, and beautiful sunshine)! How great God is to have made one country big enough to have all kinds of weather in it!

Oh, and a big, loving, ROLL TIDE! to all of you!

Silke :)

So awesome that you used the Narnia reference. I remember that someone wrote "God is not safe, but He is good" on the "glorious" banner that enclosed the stage at the end of Passion 06. Seeing that statement really hit me right where I was then.

I appreciate all of what you are doing to bring the Kingdom of God to college campuses. We'd love to have you come to Virginia Tech! We're starting to see revival here and it's awesome to see what God is doing in this generation.
-Chris
