Praise God that we are forgiven and free. Free to become all that Jesus died for. Life in Christ is so much more that just eternal life, or life that goes on forever. Jesus said that it is also abundant life. That's life that is qualitative not just quantitative. Life that is full! Not perfect-but full of hope, and joy, and love, and peace and everything else that is who Jesus is. My greatest prayer for the church is that we would stop buying the lie that there is something better than Jesus. It's not Jesus plus my ______ (you fill in the blank) that satisfies, but Jesus and Jesus alone. The greatest need of our hearts is more of Jesus. That's when we will see who we were meant to be. Then step aside and see how the Lord will glorify Himself in your life! <br/>I had the opportunity to see the tour last fall in the northeast and then again a few nights ago in Columbia. Thanks for keeping the main thing the main thing. I know Chris and the guys get lots of encouragement from their "fans" on their blog, but I just wanted to let you know what an encouragement and a driving passion your words have been to my heart. I wasn't able to make it to Passion, and so I just recently recieving the speaking series in the mail, anyways, during my gym times, I've been listening to everything that we on during those days in Tennessee, and remembering being at OneDay03, for the "Texas-sized" thunderstorm (as Chris likes to say), and my heart was just so encouraged to remember your heart then, and to see just how far he has brought you all... Today the message I was listening to was Tim Hughes... and Matt, as I listened to his English accent, I was reminded of you and the heart that you have to lead people in worship... God has blessed you both, and I want you to know that He is using you not to just affect thousands of people for a short time, but He is using you to make life changes in hearts.
