Alive And Well On The Road
The Indescribable Tour has a breather today in Ann Arbor on the way to Saginaw tomorrow night. Four straight nights made for a quick start and we are all (especially the crew) ready for a break…if only a short one. We met new friends and saw some old ones in Wexford, PA, last night and sensed through the night that God’s Spirit was powerfully at work.
But one of the most encouraging things about the night was the report we received from DC that a friend of one of the guys on our team came to Christ as a result of what God did there Saturday night. Right on! We have all been praying each step of the way that these nights will be more than just a “great experience,” but that the Kingdom will come in power and that supernatural things will happen in our midst. As we gather for prayer before each night and seek God together, it’s not enough for us that people come to a concert/worship gathering, we really do want God to open our eyes to the staggering glory and grace of Jesus Christ. What a privilege.
Thanks for your prayers as we seek to serve Him!
Louie
PS-For those of you who follow the Blog comments, we do see the criticism I/Passion receives from time to time. Though completely mystified by conclusions some draw that are so far away from what is in our hearts, the best way to respond is directly with the person if possible and not on the Blog. After all, the biblical approach is to first go to people privately with disagreements and concerns. I think we (our hearts and motives) are transparent to most of you as we seek to inspire a generation to live for God’s fame and spread His name to the ends of the earth. Let’s pursue loving Jesus and telling people about Him…and let that be our focus.

well, guys, good ole michigan…it is a lovely time of year to be there!!! Glad to hear that all is going well on the tour so far..must be pretty grueling , but rewarding at the same time.
I am impressed and moved by your response to the blog situation. Yup, you will get people who dont quite “buy it”, so to speak, but let’s not forget who we serve and all those that didn’t quite “buy HIM”, either….so, keep up the good (and God) work!!!
Blessings and safe travel!!

“David praised the Lord in the presence of the whole assembly, saying,
Praise be to you, O Lord,
God of our father Israel,
from everlasting to everlasting.
Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power
and the glory and the majesty and the splendor,
for everything in heaven and earth is yours.
Yours, O Lord, is the kingdom;
you are exalted as head over all.
Wealth and honor come from you;
you are the ruler of all things.
In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all.
Now, our God, we give you thanks,
and praise YOUR glorious name.”
1 Chronicles 29:10-13
Right on! We’re praying for you!

Louie and all at the Passion House -
Just wanted to thank you guys for giving this New York girl some major encouragement! It is such a blessing to listen to your messages and to worship right along with the worship leaders.
I truly believe that the Lord is laying upon the hearts of this generation the desire and the task of spreading His name. Thanks for speaking out about that and for challenging us to rise up and live lives worthy of our calling.

Thanks Louie for all you do – the Passion team, sixteps team, etc. I think God is doing some wonderful Kingdom work through y’all. I am so grateful to be part of it and know that what you speak about is all biblical and you are doing what God has called you to do. I will pray God will continue to bring more to Christ as you continue on the road.

You guys are just so amazing… everything that you are doing for God’s glory is so amazing and is a blessing to me and I’m sure to the many people who are seeing you guys each night and reading this blog every day as well. Louie, I can’t thank you enough for who you are and the heart that you have for college students… you are truly one of the best communicators out there and God teaches me something new everytime you teach. Thanks so much for all that you guys are doing and we’re looking forward to you coming to Athens in a few short weeks!

At church last Wednesday we were watching one of Louie’s DVDs about your boat ride when you thought you lost Shelley…and your strong tour guide. My small group girls just loved that story and how you related it back to God!…well and of course I loved it too!

Louie, Chris, & Matt
In obidience to God and an attempt to make P’06 more about the name of Christ and less about another conference experience we believe we are to be praying you guys into and out of town here in Fayetteville, Arkansas on Feb 12th. Our students are so excited about what God wants to do on our campus and in our city this semester and on Feb 12th when you guys come to town. I am meeting with some of the other leaders that took groups to P’06 Wednesday to pray and seek the Lord on what our unified response is to be as we move forward under the banner of Jesus Christ. May the Lord bless you and keep you. God Bless and may it always be for the RENOWN of our King.

Louie I love how much you encourage college students! God uses you in amazing ways and we are all blessed! I especially love how you seem to find encouragement from us. You aren’t underestimating of us and know what our generation is capable of accomplishing. It’s good to know that when the rest of the world has just assumed that college students are only interested in partying and “livin it up”(for the world), that there is someone who is challenging us to “live it up” for JESUS! And that is where the true satisfaction is! So thanks!

Louie and to everyone involved with Passion, I just want to thank you for you devotion and drive to know God more and for creating enviroments (music, conferences, books, etc.) for many students around the world to do the same. I just wanted to encourage everyone, no matter what someone says on this blog. And Louie, the Designer Jeans talk hit home with many students in my group to Passion 06′. Many of us were drinking coffee together one night after Passion, and many girls told me that was the first time that they have been talked to like that. It is always about the full-time ministry. Now they know what they can do, and that is because you showed us in Colossians (the Bible!). Thanks guys!

Thank you so much for your ministry to me in Columbia on Thursday night. I was able to attend Passion06 and coming back to my local church, I had a difficult time describing the atmosphere of worship, but God allowed me to take 23 others with me down to Columbia for the Indescribable tour… What an AWESOME GOD we serve, thank you for communicating that in such a powerful way. If I could have picked which message I wanted my fellow worshippers to hear it would have been that one Louie. I am praying that our indescribable God will continue to put a new song in your mouths, that you may lead others to the throne of grace.

Louie, be encouraged my brother! There are thousands of people backing you up in prayer! God has used You greatly in my life. Obviously the glory there goes to God! Let Him keep You humble and completely dependant on Him! Don’t listen to those who question Your motives. Kepp a heart that longs for God’s glory and He will continue to shine through You! Don’t mean to sound preachy. You are a blessing my brother! I pray encouragement and the power of the sweet Holy Spirit upon you today. The Lord has led me to seek Him and prayer and fasting today. I will lift you and the guys up throughout this day! Gratefully Yours!

I love when people have opinions and then hide behind “anonymous”. I particularly loved the comment about “all Louie does is tell stories”….so did another guy-his name was Jesus. They were called parables back then. Today they are illustrations. I think the worst place somebody can be is criticizing a ministry that God obviously has his fingerprint on. Philippians 2:14…NO COMPLAINING!
Louie, looking forward to South Bend!

Hi guys, it is great to read this from Australia and know that while we may have different views on many things and you may spell and speak words in strange ways and play strange sports, the one thing that is not different is the army of Christians. It’s amazing to know that while there are so many things different, there is this unstoppable unity.
I will continue to pray for the Passion movement even though I have no hope of getting to any of your gatherings in the US any time soon. I’m also guessing there aren’t any plans to bring any Passion tours to Australia, but who cares? You are doing what God needs you to do and that is good enough!
Having said that, I think many people could be reached if the Tomlin/Redman/Giglio trio were to do the Indescribable tour over here. Oh, and please release the first iTunes bundle to the Australian Music Store!

Amen. (to the comment about occasional criticism. I think it is so wack, and if someone has time to do that, they need to find something better to do – themselves – for God, honestly.)
Thanks for all you do for God and furthering the Kingdom!
